Story of Old
Goat Farm In December of 2004, quite by accident, we found this beautiful little place while plant shopping with our
good friend Linda. It is located just outside of Orting, WA, tucked below Mt. Rainier. We fell in love with this place, and
by March of 2005, we were the owners of Old Goat Farm.
It is kind of a throwback to a simpler time with its 100-year-old
farmhouse and cute barn and nursery. The garden is dotted with topiaries which give it a magical quality.
Check out
these articles about Old Goat Farm: Mission Our mission is to offer well-grown garden plants that we also showcase in
our garden. We are plant enthusiasts and we hope that there is something that will appeal to everyone. We grow our plants
in small numbers which is why we don’t post specific plants on the Web site. If you have questions, please e-mail oldgoatfarm@centurytel.net.
Nursery Hours We are open on set dates (check calendar) or by
appointment. The nursery hours during Public Opens are from 10 AM to 5 PM. We are also open for a number of organized
events, so get your garden club or group of friends and come watch us grow.
